Join us at Tietze Park on Monday, September 20th at 9:15am for a rally targeting Rep Colin Allred. While the TX Gulf faces tropical storm Nicholas, coastal residents lose power by the hundreds of thousands, and schools shut down Colin is busy fighting for wealthy gas executives and $35 billion in taxpayer funded subsidies they don't need. On September 20th, Congress gets back to DC. And from there we only have one week until they're set to vote on bills that could be the largest climate investment this country has ever seen. That's why we're mobilizing to take action and make sure Democrats pass a bold climate agenda while they vote for the reconciliation package: a fully funded Civilian Climate Corps and bold investment in renewable energy, public housing, transit, and schools. We will demonstrate that we will not stop, we will not back-down, we will not quit, until we win the first major legislative victory for our movement.
Last fall, we voted in record turnout and elected a new wave of progressives, protected the House, flipped the Senate, and delivered Joe Biden a decisive victory. Now is our moment to demand Democrats deliver for our generation, so join us in the streets. Congress: Bring It Home!
